Graduation. I didn’t realize it until now that it’s only 3 months away. Those 3 little months I have left and then I’m done. After graduation my life’s going to change whether I like it or not. I’m not going to wake up every morning, go to school, and see the same people I’ve seen since kindergarden. They’re going to be gone too and who knows if I’ll see them again. I’ll soon be moving into my dorm at college at start a new chapter in my life with new people. So I have now until graduation to make the best of the time I have left. I've been hearing people talk about graduation and saying how scared and nervous they are, but as for me I wouldn’t say the same because It’s more of a sad or excited feeling.
While graduation is something that hasn’t left my mind since this year started I have to learn to put it to the side and remember the million of things I have to finish first. My senior exit interview is scheduled in April so that gives me more time to practice. I also have my placement test coming up so I have to take time out of my already busy schedule so I can study. As of my classes, I want to work on getting or staying on pace so I can feel confident about finishing on time. There are also a lot of things that I had to purchase. I had to pay for my placement test, AP exams, grad nite ticket, and make the final payments on my class ring. It’s a lot of money, but it will be worth it in the end. For my post graduation plans, other than spending the summer with my friends before we all go our separate ways, I made the decision on attending CSU Sacramento this fall and I’m really excited. I’m ready to leave Lindsay and experience something new, but I think it can wait a little longer. I just want to enjoy the time I have left with my friends and family and thank Lindsay High School for the amazing people I have met and the memories I will not forget.
